Privacy Policy

1. Data Controller

This Privacy Policy applies to the Eclat Camera app ("Eclat"). The data controller is Orichalque SAS, 26 rue Bosquet, 75007 Paris, France. You can contact us at eclat@orichalque.net.

2. Permissions and Data Categories

Eclat may request the following iOS permissions to provide core features:

  • Camera: to capture photos.
  • Photo Library (Add/Read): to save captured photos and access your library when requested.
  • Location (When In Use): to embed GPS metadata in photos when you enable this setting.
  • Microphone: required by iOS permission flow for media capture capabilities.

3. Processing Model

Photo capture and filter processing are performed on-device. Eclat does not upload your photos to company servers by default. Captured images are stored in your Apple Photos library according to your device settings and permissions.

4. Tracking, Ads, and Analytics

Eclat is designed without ad SDKs and without third-party analytics or behavioral tracking SDKs by default. We do not run in-app advertising in Eclat.

5. In-App Purchases and Donations

Optional one-time donations are processed by Apple through StoreKit and the App Store. Payment details are handled by Apple under Apple's terms and privacy policies. Eclat receives transaction status information needed to unlock donation acknowledgement states.

6. Data Retention

Eclat keeps only the minimum local data necessary for app functionality (for example selected settings and donation state indicators). Photos remain in your Apple Photos library until you delete them. You can remove app data by deleting the app and its local storage from your device.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data. You may exercise applicable rights by contacting us at eclat@orichalque.net.

8. Children

Eclat is not directed to children under the age required by local law for independent consent. If you believe a child provided personal data improperly, contact us to request review and deletion where applicable.

9. International Users

If you use Eclat outside France, your information may be processed in accordance with this Policy and applicable laws. Mandatory local consumer and privacy protections remain applicable where required.

10. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect legal, technical, or product changes. The effective date at the top of this page indicates the latest revision.
